TOP (1) : Dividing group ; Look back to my works

The first and the second seminars, I have done my short presentation to show my territory to my tutor group and joining group of particular territory. For the presentation, I have tried to look back to my previous works. Actually I have never thought about territory of my own art, so it was kind of interesting to look back on my works.

During looking back to my previous works. I found two parts in my previous practices. I think that the first part of practices is about social things. I was interested in relation and interaction between people in our societies. Countries, companies, symbols of them and ways to make their own images were interesting things to make my works in the beginning of my practices.

 

However there was a huge change from these works. My interest was moving into material and medium of art. Using glassescase for my painting and making my own new concept 'moving painting' were my recent practice. I have just tried to cross medium to understand what medium are in my art. And I think that this practice is where I can find my territories.

So I just talked about these in presentation, and joined group called 'Illusion/material process'. Actually I just realized that my works have a kind of illusion. Various illusions in my group 'Material process.' is totally interesting, and we just found lots of commons between our works as much as we talked.
